The Sales Data Analyst will analyze sales performance, market trends, and inventory movements to support forecasting and business decision-making. They are responsible for maintaining data accuracy, preparing management dashboards, and monitoring sales targets across various regions and products.

Requirements

Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Finance, Accounting, or Statistics and possess at least 5 years of experience in sales or data analysis. Proficiency in SAP or ERP systems and advanced Excel skills are required, with preference given to those with experience in the agricultural sector.

Full description

* Analyse sales performance by product, region, customer, salesperson, and period.

* Monitor sales targets and analyse variances between actual and planned performance.

* Identify high- and low-performing products, customers, and regions.

* Analyse sales prices, profitability, and sales trends.

* Analyse agricultural market trends, particularly the potato seed market.

* Support sales forecasting and seasonal demand planning.

* Analyse inventory movements, turnover, and stock availability against actual and forecasted sales.

* Extract and analyze data from SAP / ERP systems.

* Prepare management dashboards, sales reports, and KPIs.

* Ensure data accuracy and consistency across systems and reports.

* Support management with analysis related to pricing, distribution, inventory requirements, and business opportunities.

Requirements

* Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Statistics, Information Systems, or a related field.

* Minimum 5 years of experience in Sales, Finance, or Data Analysis.

* Experience in sales, inventory, and customer data analysis.

* Experience in the agriculture, agricultural trading, or import sector is preferred.

* Good knowledge of SAP or other ERP systems.

* Advanced Excel skills are required.

* Knowledge of Power BI or other Business Intelligence tools is preferred.

* Strong analytical, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
