Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in software development programming in Swift, Objective-C, or C++.
  • 5 years of experience testing, maintaining, and launching software products.
  • 5 years of experience with iOS application, SDK, or framework development.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 3 years of experience with software design and architecture.
  • Understanding of algorithms and their level of complexity.
  • Excellent problem solving, software, systems troubleshooting and debugging skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Define the technical goal, architectural strategy, and API design for the Android XR iOS SDK. Make critical developing decisions ensuring long-term scalability, backward compatibility, and developer ergonomics.
  • Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain robust iOS SDK frameworks and companion app integrations using iOS native libraries/languages. The SDK may also include the creation of UI Toolkit optimized for XR experiences driven through iOS Applications or Gemini-connected experiences.
  • Solve technical challenges involving connectivity, communication, background processing, sensor data streaming, power/battery optimization, and secure data synchronization between iOS devices and XR Devices.
  • Partner with cross-functional leads (Product Management, Developer Relations, Partner Developing, Android XR platform teams, and external developer partners) to align platform/SDK/tools roadmaps and deliver a cohesive, cross-platform developer experience.
  • Set high standards for code quality, API documentation, testing strategies, and design reviews.
