Summary
The Salesforce Administrator – Commercial is responsible for the day-to-day configuration, optimization, and reliability of Asurint’s Salesforce ecosystem in direct support of Sales, Marketing, and Account Management. This role owns process optimization across the client lifecycle from lead routing and opportunity stage design through forecasting and reporting structure, ensuring the CRM evolves in a timely manner based on Asurint’s go-to-market (GTM) requirements.
Responsibilities
- Owns end-to-end process optimization within Salesforce, identifies friction points across the client lifecycle (prospecting, opportunity management, onboarding, and account management), and implements configuration or automation fixes.
- Prioritizes and executes approved GTM change requests directly with Sales, Marketing, Account Management, and Client Implementation stakeholders, reducing turnaround time relative to traditional IT ticketing workflows.
- Supports enablement and change management efforts by co-leading training and adoption initiatives tied to new Salesforce features or process changes.
- Partners with RevOps leadership to align Salesforce data structures with broader forecasting, pipeline, and performance reporting needs.

- Manages user access, roles, profiles, and permission sets to maintain data security and appropriate system visibility across the revenue organization.
- Executes Salesforce.com application projects approved by Asurint’s Change Approval Board by supporting the design, configuration, testing, and migration from sandbox to production environment.
- Installs, maintains, and troubleshoots all server and software issues; provides responsive and courteous support to resolve all technical issues.
- Triages, estimates, and prioritizes incoming enhancement requests to keep CRM roadmap responsive to evolving client-facing team needs.
- Creates and maintains documentation of all technologies, configurations, process changes, and technology policies and procedures.

Requirements
- Experience with in-depth systems administration of Salesforce, CRM, and other cloud-hosted applications is required.
- Experience designing/installing new systems or adding significant new functionality to existing systems is required.
- Experience with user and user access administration is required.
- Experience with local, virtual, and web-based system access methods is required.
- Experience with Microsoft Exchange and Office 365 is required.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills are required.
- Experience supporting sales forecasting, pipeline reporting, and dashboard/report-building within Salesforce is preferred.
- Experience with the legal/court system is preferred.
- Experience with background screening is preferred.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) or similar software is required. Relevant business management systems such as general ledger, HRIS, CRM, etc. is preferred.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent is required. Associate degree in computer science, information technology or a related field is preferred.
- Certifications or licensure: Salesforce Certified Administrator certification is required. If you do any work-related driving while at Asurint, a driver’s license and ability to maintain a driving record that is satisfactory to the company’s liability insurance carrier is required.
- Years of relevant experience: 3 to 5 years is preferred.
- Years of experience supervising: None.
Working Conditions
- The work environment involves everyday risks or discomforts that require normal safety precautions typical of offices, including the need for general safe workplace practices with office equipment and computers, avoidance of trips and falls, and observance of fire regulations.
- This position is performed remotely within the United States or in an office setting in the Cleveland, Ohio headquarters, although off-site meetings in various settings may occur.
- Inside Asurint’s office environment, the noise level is usually quiet to moderate.
- In a remote setting, the employee is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure work environment, for arranging the off-site workspace in an ergonomically sound manner, and for maintaining standard Internet speeds in order to work effectively.
- In a remote setting, the employee is required to ensure that all equipment and records that are the property of Asurint but have been relocated to the off-site workplace, are maintained in a safe and secure manner and are used only for business purposes.
- The schedule is generally normal Eastern Time Zone business hours (unless otherwise communicated based on position or working location), although the employee may be required to perform work, attend meetings and events before or after normal workings hours, and occasionally on weekends and evenings.
- Some travel by personal automobile and a valid driver’s license may be required. Occasional overnight travel may be required.
- Ability to lift light objects (less than 20 pounds) and carry them short distances (20 feet or less) is required.
