What to do:
- Design, develop and maintain Java components
- Implementing Java components using internal framework
- Implementing of new features for internal Java Framework
- Ensure the performance, scalability, and security
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and best practices in Java development
- Participate in code reviews and ensure that all code adheres to best practices
- End to end responsibility from design to DevOps on the assigned component.
You check these boxes:
- Enrolled student at slovak university with student status and availability to wok 20h per week.
- Basic Java development skills, preferably with Spring Boot.
- Basic Python development skills.
- Basic prompt engineering skills and an interest in AI-assisted software development.
- Fundamental understanding of algorithms and data structures (e.g., BFS, DFS, queues, stacks, trees, and graphs).
- Basic knowledge of REST APIs and service integration concepts.
- Basic debugging and troubleshooting skills.
- Familiarity with Git and collaborative software development practices.
- Interest in programming language tooling, parsers, grammars, and code transformation.
- Familiarity with ANTLR4, lexers, parsers, or Abstract Syntax Trees (ASTs) is a plus.
- Fluent in English.
