What to do:

• ​​​​​​Design, develop and maintain Java components

• Implementing Java components using internal framework

• Implementing of new features for internal Java Framework

• Ensure the performance, scalability, and security

• Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and best practices in Java development

• Participate in code reviews and ensure that all code adheres to best practices 

• End to end responsibility from design to DevOps on the assigned component.

You check these boxes:

• Enrolled student at slovak university with student status and availability to wok 20h per week.

• Basic Java development skills, preferably with Spring Boot.

• Basic Python development skills.

• Basic prompt engineering skills and an interest in AI-assisted software development.

• Fundamental understanding of algorithms and data structures (e.g., BFS, DFS, queues, stacks, trees, and graphs).

• Basic knowledge of REST APIs and service integration concepts.

• Basic debugging and troubleshooting skills.

• Familiarity with Git and collaborative software development practices.

• Interest in programming language tooling, parsers, grammars, and code transformation.

• Familiarity with ANTLR4, lexers, parsers, or Abstract Syntax Trees (ASTs) is a plus.

• Fluent in English.
