Spotify's Podcast Platform Product Area is building the foundation for the next generation of creator experiences. As we expand into new content formats and business models, maintaining a high-quality catalog is essential to delivering Time Well Spent experiences for listeners.
We're looking for a Product Manager to lead the products and platform capabilities that power catalog integrity, rights management, and platform safety. You'll define the systems that ensure content distributed on Spotify is safely published, fully cleared, and compliant with copyright, licensing requirements, platform rules, and applicable laws.
You'll work closely with engineering, legal, licensing, Trust & Safety, operations, and product teams across Spotify to build scalable solutions that protect creators, rightsholders, listeners, and the long-term health of Spotify's catalog.

What You'll Do
• Define and drive the roadmap for catalog integrity, rights management, and platform safety across the Podcast Platform Product Area.
• Partner closely with engineering to design scalable solutions that leverage Spotify's trust, safety, rights management, and compliance capabilities, translating product strategy into clear technical requirements and end-to-end system flows.
• Build systems that govern how content is distributed on Spotify, ensuring it is distributed through the appropriate channels and complies with copyright, licensing requirements, platform rules, and applicable laws.
• Lead the evolution of Spotify Rights Center, enabling rightsholders to manage the use of their content while providing creators clear workflows to resolve rights issues.
• Partner with Legal, Licensing, Trust & Safety, and engineering teams to translate evolving business, legal, and regulatory requirements into scalable product capabilities.
• Work cross-functionally across the Podcast Mission and Spotify platform teams to improve the quality, trust, and integrity of Spotify's content ecosystem.
Who You Are
• You are an experienced Product Manager with strong product craft.
• You have strong technical acumen and can translate complex product requirements into scalable engineering solutions, with an understanding of how trust, safety, rights management, and compliance systems interact across Spotify's platform.
• You can operate and communicate at multiple levels, from defining strategy with senior leaders to writing clear user stories for the squad.
• You're effective at collaborating across engineering, legal, policy, licensing, operations, and business teams.
• You know how to navigate ambiguity, make thoughtful tradeoffs, and bring clarity to complex problems.
• Experience building products for creator platforms, including content moderation or rights management systems such as YouTube's Content ID, is a plus.

\nThe United States base range for this position is $119,424.00 - 170,606.00, plus equity. The benefits available for this position include health insurance, six month paid parental leave, 401(k) retirement plan, monthly meal allowance, 23 paid days off, 13 paid flexible holidays. This range encompasses multiple levels. Leveling is determined during the interview process. Placement in a level depends on relevant work history and interview performance. These ranges may be modified in the future.
