Senior Javascript Engineer - Core Experience

ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are looking for a passionate and experienced self-driven Senior JavaScript Engineer to join in on our mission to deliver the greatest igaming experience to our customers. As a part of our multinational frontend team, you would be an important cog in the machinery, creating new features for and maintaining the full product of LeoVegas.com.

In close collaboration with product managers, designers and our backend peers, we get to work with a broad variety of initiatives, you will be a key factor delivering features and maintaining our brand. With focus on our so-called RoW (Rest of the world) cluster, you will directly act on markets such as Canada, Germany, Malta and some others, with the possibility to bring your own experience close to the current team, and stakeholders.

YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

• Develop and maintain high-quality JavaScript applications

• Ensure a smooth and engaging user experience

• You will be responsible for driving the development of most of the frontend features of Leovegas.com

• Improve and maintain the applications with a product focus

• Contribute to launching new brands and brand expansions into new territories

OUR SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING:

Essential Skills:

• Strong, proven experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, React, and Next.js

• Solid working knowledge of GraphQl

• Practical experience with Node.js and microservices

Nice to Have:

• Experience with tracking and monitoring tools (e.g., Datadog)

• Familiarity with OpenAPI and BigQuery

• Experience leveraging AI tools like Claude or GitHub Copilot, alongside a strong curiosity for using AI to elevate engineering practices

• Curiosity and enthusiasm for adopting AI to enhance engineering practices and software delivery
