ABOUT YOU:

You are a highly analytical and detail-oriented finance professional with a passion for turning data into meaningful business insights. You enjoy working with complex datasets, challenging the status quo and identifying opportunities to improve processes and performance. With strong communication skills and a collaborative approach, you are comfortable engaging with stakeholders across the business and using data-driven insights to support decision-making.

Required skills and experience:

  • Professional accountancy qualification (ACCA/CIMA), or progress towards qualification, would be advantageous.
  • Advanced Excel skills essential, including working with large and complex datasets (assessment included as part of the selection process).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and data interpretation skills, with excellent attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to use data and insights to support business decision-making.
  • Experience producing insightful reporting and presenting findings to stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence a range of stakeholders.
  • Passion for automation, continuous improvement and process efficiency.
  • Experience within a finance, FP&A, data analytics or similar analytical environment.
  • Knowledge of Power Query, Power Pivot and DAX would be advantageous.
  • Experience in a multi-divisional organisation and knowledge of the TIC industry would be beneficial.

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

Reporting to the Finance Business Partner and FP&A Manager (ECA C&P and France), you will play a key role in supporting financial reporting, forecasting, budgeting, data management and business analysis. Partnering with operational and finance stakeholders across the business, you will help deliver meaningful insight, drive continuous improvement and support informed commercial decision-making in a fast-paced environment.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

  • Support the Finance Business Partner and FP&A Manager in delivering financial forecasting, budgeting and commercial analysis to support business performance and growth.
  • Coordinate and support month-end close activities, ensuring accurate reporting of financial results and participation in business performance reviews.
  • Communicate key reporting deadlines and prepare reporting templates to ensure timely and accurate submissions from Business Line Leaders.
  • Provide financial analysis, insights and commercial support to aid decision-making across the business.
  • Support the management of working capital, cost control initiatives, capital expenditure and investment appraisals.
  • Ensure compliance with mandatory financial controls, policies and governance requirements.
  • Develop, automate and maintain dashboards, reports and analytical tools to improve visibility of business performance.
  • Conduct sales, cost and operational data analysis, identifying trends, risks and opportunities to drive performance improvements.
  • Support financial modelling, ad hoc analysis and business projects as required.
  • Ensure the accurate collection, upload, reconciliation and reporting of financial and operational metrics.
  • Monitor performance trends, investigate variances and perform root cause analysis to support continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with operational and finance stakeholders to provide timely, accurate and actionable business insights.
