Full Stack Developer – React & AWS

Who are we

These services have applicability across a variety of industries, including banking & financial services, insurance, retail, higher education, food, healthcare, and manufacturing.

Role Overview

Builds responsive, high-quality React front-ends for the underwriting platform, while supporting backend services and integrations using AWS and scripting technologies.

Experience Profile

  • 8–9 years of IT experience in React/full-stack development.
  • Strong hands-on experience in React UI development, with exposure to backend development and cloud-based services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop responsive, accessible and high-quality UI using React based on designs and requirements.
  • Integrate React applications with backend, AI and REST APIs.
  • Develop and support backend services using AWS Lambda, SQS, API Gateway and DynamoDB.
  • Develop scripts and lightweight backend services using Node.js or Python.
  • Manage application state, performance and API interactions.
  • Write clean, testable and reusable code and participate in code reviews.
  • Troubleshoot application, API and integration issues across frontend and backend layers.
  • Collaborate with the Tech Lead, Business Analyst and backend/AI developers.
  • Onsite developer coordinates closely with the client and offshore counterpart.

Required Skills

  • Strong hands-on experience with React, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML and CSS.
  • Good understanding of React hooks, state management, reusable components and frontend performance.
  • Experience with REST APIs and API integration.
  • Working experience with AWS services such as Lambda, SQS, API Gateway and DynamoDB.
  • Scripting/backend development experience using Node.js or Python.
  • Experience with component/unit testing and debugging.
  • Good understanding of software development lifecycle, Git and code review practices.

Preferred / Nice-to-have

  • Experience with AWS serverless architecture.
  • Design-system/component-library experience.
  • Exposure to AI/ML service integration.
  • Basic UX sensibility and accessibility awareness.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams.
