Responsible for engineering, automating, and supporting AWS-focused shared network services. The engineer will own and improve services including egress proxies sidecar, shared and CI/CD, DNS, AWS Transit Gateway, ThousandEyes agents, SMTP proxies, Swiss proxy, and Swiss NACL automation. The role includes operational ownership of related environments and accounts such as outbound proxies, CI/CD proxies, shared services, Direct Connect, DNS, TE agents, and sidecar approvals. The successful candidate will use automation and infrastructure-as-code to improve reliability, security, scalability, and governance across cloud connectivity services, while working closely with network, security, platform, and application teams.
Key responsibilities
- Engineer and support AWS network and connectivity services
- Manage and improve proxy, DNS, TGW, and Direct Connect related services
- Automate controls and service operations, including Swiss NACL automation
- Support CI/CD and sidecar connectivity patterns
- Manage approvals, changes, incidents, and service reliability
- Work with security and platform teams to ensure compliant and resilient service delivery.
