Job Title: Product Manager
Location: Hyderabad, India
Reports To: Director of Product Management, JAI
Type: Full-Time
About the Role
This role owns JAGGAER's analytics and data products: the analytics and business intelligence suite, Bulk Data Export, and the next generation of data products we build for customers. These are established, revenue-generating capabilities with live commitments across the customer base, and they are being reshaped by AI faster than any other part of the platform.
The mandate is to define and deliver what those products become in an AI-first platform. That means insight that finds the customer rather than waiting to be asked for, including generated insight and anomaly detection across their spend. It means data products built for a customer's own systems and agents to consume, not only for a person to read. And it means owning the trust layer underneath all of it, so that the answers our AI produces are accurate enough to put in front of a procurement executive.
You will work across the JAI portfolio, because the data and intelligence layer you own is what every agent and research capability in the product reasons over.
This is a strategy and delivery role in a single seat. You will set the direction, and you will be measured on what ships against it.
Principal Responsibilities
- Product ownership: Own the strategy, roadmap and delivery for the analytics and business intelligence suite, Bulk Data Export, and the data products built on them.
- AI-native insight capabilities: Define and deliver new AI capabilities in this space, including generated insight and anomaly detection across customer spend, taking them from concept through early access to general availability.
- Product direction: Define what analytics and data products become as AI absorbs them, including how customers consume data when their own systems and agents are the consumer rather than a person, and where the boundary sits between surfacing an insight and acting on it. Establish the product direction for agent-ready data delivery.
- Data trust and accuracy: Own the quality bar for the data and semantic models our AI reasons over: the definitions of core procurement measures, the evaluation approach that proves accuracy, and the standard a model must meet before it is used with a customer.
- Committed delivery: Meet the existing analytics, reporting and data export commitments already sold to customers, including those carried in active RFPs and renewals, and keep the install base on a clear roadmap.
- Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with engineering, applied AI, UX, and the Experience, AgentOS and Deep Research product managers, so the data and intelligence layer serves the whole JAI portfolio rather than one surface.
- Market and customer insight: Validate problems and proposed capabilities directly with customers and prospects, and use that evidence to prioritise. Support analytics and data content in RFPs and executive briefings.
- Agile execution: Translate product requirements into clear, well-defined requirements and acceptance criteria for the engineering teams, and work with them through delivery.
- Metrics and performance: Define and report the KPIs for this scope, including adoption of the AI insight surfaces, accuracy against the evaluation set, and delivery against customer commitments.
Position Requirements
What You Will Bring
- 3+ years of product management experience in SaaS or enterprise software, including ownership of a product area end to end.
- Hands-on experience with AI products, including LLM-powered applications, prompt engineering, retrieval architectures, or applying AI to structured enterprise data.
- Strong working understanding of data platforms, semantic and dimensional modelling, and analytics or BI tooling. Snowflake experience is an advantage.
- A rigorous approach to accuracy: comfort defining ground truth, designing evaluation sets, and holding a quality bar under delivery pressure.
- Experience working with enterprise customers to validate problems and quantify value, rather than gathering feature requests.
- Experience with procurement, source-to-pay, supply chain or finance data is an advantage.
- Proficiency in Agile methodologies and working closely with distributed engineering teams.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or a related field preferred.
Success in This Position
- An outcome focus, with customer value always in mind.
- Comfortable saying no to a capability that has not met the accuracy bar, and able to explain that decision commercially to sales and to customers.
- Able to hold both a multi-year product direction and a current-quarter delivery commitment without losing either.
- Strong written and verbal communication in English, and credible with both engineering and business leadership.
- Effective at influencing without authority across product, engineering and go-to-market teams.
- Accustomed to working in an international environment across multiple development sites and time zones.
Goals for the First 12 Months
- An agreed product direction for analytics and data products in an AI-first platform, signed off with Product and Engineering leadership and reflected in the roadmap.
- Generated insight and anomaly detection delivered to early access customers, with adoption and accuracy reported as the primary measures of success.
- A published quality and evaluation standard for the data and semantic models our AI reasons over, with accuracy tracked and reported.
- All existing analytics, reporting and data export commitments met, with a clear and communicated roadmap for the install base.
- Customer validation of the new AI capabilities in this space, with quantified outcomes suitable for use in renewals and new business.
