Each product we launch would have been an entire company in the pre-AI era; for us, it's a focused product on common infrastructure, so each deployment builds on the last. Our no-code Agent Builder lets teams design and deploy agents with governance and traceability, while our Customer Context Model routes recurring issues and account risk to the teams that can fix them. Every deployment lowers our customers' cost to serve. We're hiring engineers and product leaders who want to build systems that get more capable the more they run.

About the role

We're looking for a Product Designer to join our team and help shape the UI/UX of Mosaic AI's platform, including Rep Assistant, Knowledge, Self-Service, and Intelligence, all built on our Agent Builder foundation. You'll work closely with product managers and engineers to design workflows for support and CX teams at complex B2B SaaS companies.

What you'll do

• Design end-to-end product experiences, from flows and wireframes to high-fidelity UI, for a fast-moving AI platform
• Partner with PM and engineering to scope features, iterate quickly, and ship
• Maintain and extend our design system to keep the product consistent as it grows
• Translate complex, data-heavy workflows (ticket triage, agent dashboards, knowledge authoring) into clear, usable interfaces
• Run and synthesize user research and usability feedback to inform design decisions
• Present design work and rationale to stakeholders across product, engineering, and leadership

Using AI in your workflow

We build an AI product, and we expect our designers to work like it. You'll use AI tools throughout the design and scoping process, not just as a novelty but as part of how the team moves fast:

• Use AI tools (Figma AI, ChatGPT/Claude, or similar) to speed up early exploration, like first-pass flows, copy variants, and layout options, before refining by hand
• Use Mosaic's own product to inform design decisions, since we dogfood internally and shape our roadmap around our own usage
• Bring AI into scoping: drafting requirement docs, summarizing research or customer feedback, stress-testing edge cases before a project starts
• Know when an AI-assisted draft is enough and when a problem needs original human thinking
• Stay current on how AI-native products should feel from an interaction design standpoint. Our users expect that fluency from us

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in product or UI/UX design, ideally on B2B SaaS or complex data products
• Prior experience at an early-stage or fast-growing startup; comfortable with ambiguity, fast iteration, and shifting priorities
• A portfolio showing strong craft in interaction design and visual design, not just mockups
• Proficiency in Figma and familiarity with working alongside a component-based design system
• Comfortable using AI tools in your day-to-day design and scoping work
• Experience designing for dashboards, workflows, or AI-assisted tools is a plus
• Comfortable working independently and owning projects from discovery through launch
• Strong communication skills; able to explain design decisions clearly to non-designers

Nice to have

• Experience designing AI or agent-based products
• Familiarity with support, CX, or CRM tooling (Zendesk, Salesforce, etc.)
