Role Overview

We are looking for a seasoned Full Stack Developer who can own end-to-end delivery across all layers of the PCS platform: Java Spring Boot backend, Angular 14 web application, React Native patient-facing mobile app, and PostgreSQL database. This is a hands-on engineering role requiring depth across all layers — not a generalist who dabbles in each. You will operate in a HIPAA-compliant, multi-tenant, AWS-hosted microservices environment where security, data isolation, and scalability are non-negotiable.

Key Responsibilities

Backend — Java / Spring Boot

• Build and maintain RESTful APIs using Java 11 and Spring Boot (JPA, REST, Security modules)
• Implement multi-tenant JWT authentication with per-tenant access/refresh secret keys and OAuth 2.0 SSO
• Configure and maintain Drools rule engine with per-tenant configurable business rules
• Develop workflow-driven features using Camunda Workflow Engine with multi-tenant process isolation
• Build notification services: email (AWS SES/SNS), SMS (Amazon Pinpoint/SNS), mobile (Firebase) — each with per-tenant resource isolation
• Implement scheduling using Quartz Enterprise Scheduler and Spring Scheduler
• Write unit tests using JUnit and Mockito; maintain >80% code coverage

Database & ETL

• Design and maintain PostgreSQL schemas with multi-tenant data isolation strategies
• Write optimised queries, stored procedures, and manage indexes for performance
• Manage ORM mappings using Hibernate/JPA; handle connection pooling and transaction management
• Build and maintain ETL pipelines using AWS Lambda for analytics data flows
• Ensure DB-level encryption at rest using AWS RDS encryption / KMS
• Manage AWS RDS instances: backups, patching, performance monitoring

Web Frontend — Angular 14

• Develop SPA features using Angular 14, TypeScript, RxJS, NgRX, and Angular Material
• Implement SCSS-based per-tenant theming (colors, logos, typography)
• Handle secure JWT token lifecycle per tenant; enforce MFA and privileged access flows
• Build real-time PSP user web screen notification service
• Write unit and E2E tests using Karma, Jasmine, and Cypress
• Collaborate with UX on Figma design handoff; deliver WCAG-accessible components

Mobile — React Native

• Build and maintain cross-platform patient-facing mobile app for iOS and Android
• Integrate with backend APIs using OAuth 2.0 / per-tenant JWT authentication flows
• Set up and manage per-tenant Firebase projects for patient push notifications
• Implement MFA, secure login, and role-aware screens; enforce HIPAA-compliant local storage and data transmission
• Support continuous delivery pipelines to App Store and Google Play

Cross-Cutting

• Participate in code reviews, sprint ceremonies, and technical design discussions
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines using AWS CodeBuild, CodeDeploy, and Bitbucket
• Apply security best practices: data encryption in transit and at rest, vulnerability scanning with SonarQube
• Document technical decisions and APIs in Confluence; manage tasks in Jira

Mobile
