Your job

As a Senior Manager, Product Management at Indeed, you will manage a team of product managers while shaping the strategy, roadmap, and execution for a meaningful product area or set of related investments. you will be accountable for product outcomes, cross-functional execution, and the growth and development of product talent on your team.You will partner closely with Engineering, Design, Data Science, UX Research, and business partners to identify high-value problems to solve, translate insights into clear priorities, and ensure teams are delivering measurable impact. You will coach product managers through ambiguity and tradeoff decisions, maintain an effective product operating rhythm, and use data, experimentation, and customer insight to guide decisions and improve how the team works.

  • Define and drive product strategy and roadmap for one or more product areas, ensuring priorities are grounded in customer needs, business goals, and measurable outcomes.
  • Manage, coach, and develop a team of product managers, providing clear feedback, prioritization guidance, and support for career growth.
  • Translate company, organizational, and team goals into sequenced product priorities, roadmaps, and execution plans that teams can deliver against.
  • Partner closely with Engineering, Design, Data Science, UX Research, and business partners to align on opportunities, tradeoffs, resources, and execution.
  • Establish and maintain an effective product operating rhythm across intake, backlog management, roadmap reviews, planning, and cross-functional decision-making.
  • Use data, experimentation, and customer research to define success metrics, measure impact, and guide iteration after launch.
  • Communicate product strategy, progress, risks, and recommendations clearly to partners and leaders, and raise the quality of product management across the team through coaching and example.

Who we are

  • Requires a minimum of 14 years of related experience; or a minimum of 12 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 8 years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD with 5 years experience.
  • Technical fluency in ML/AI systems and infrastructure , - Platform PM experience building for internal/developer customers, including defining APIs, SLAs, and developer experience.
  • Significant relevant product management experience, with demonstrated success guiding cross-functional teams to deliver measurable outcomes in complex product environments.
  • Experience managing, mentoring, or providing clear work direction to product managers, including prioritization support, feedback, and talent development.
  • Proven ability to define product strategy and maintain roadmaps for complex product areas while balancing near-term execution with longer-term direction.
  • Experience partnering effectively with Engineering, Design, Data Science, UX Research, and business teams to drive alignment and execution.
  • Data-driven mindset with experience defining success metrics, using experimentation and analysis to evaluate outcomes, and applying insights to prioritization decisions.
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to synthesize complex information and present recommendations, risks, and tradeoffs clearly to senior leaders.

Tier 1- 150,000-224,000 USD per year

Tier 2- 166,000-250,000 USD per year
