This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Software Engineer - GoLang based in India.
We are looking for an experienced backend engineer to design, build, and scale high-performance distributed systems and modern software platforms. This role focuses on solving complex engineering challenges through clean architecture, scalable services, and reliable infrastructure. You will work on products serving high-growth companies, contributing to systems that require strong performance, security, and availability. Accountabilities: The role involves owning the development, architecture, and continuous improvement of backend systems, with a focus on scalability, reliability, and engineering excellence. You will contribute to technical strategy, collaborate with multiple stakeholders, and help build robust solutions for complex business needs.
- Design, develop, and maintain clean, high-quality, performant, and scalable backend services.
- Build and evolve distributed systems, microservices, and RESTful APIs designed for high availability and low latency.
- Analyze complex technical challenges, define effective solutions, and contribute to architecture and design decisions.
- Develop secure and scalable services using Go and related backend technologies.
- Implement and optimize database solutions across relational, document, key-value, object, and graph data stores.
- Build API gateways, monitoring solutions, fault-tolerant systems, and performance-driven services.
- Manage cloud infrastructure, deployments, and operational reliability in production environments.
- Participate in code reviews, testing processes, debugging, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and business stakeholders to align engineering solutions with objectives.
- Create technical documentation, improve engineering processes, and promote best practices.
- Mentor junior engineers, support team growth, and contribute to knowledge sharing.
- Take ownership of backend platforms and help drive scalability initiatives for systems serving large user bases.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate is a senior backend engineer with strong experience building scalable software solutions, excellent problem-solving abilities, and the ability to work independently in a dynamic environment.
- 5+ years of professional software development experience with strong expertise in Go, Java, or Python.
- Solid experience with Go development and backend engineering practices.
- Experience working with Kubernetes, Docker, AWS, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong knowledge of microservice architectures, transactional systems, and distributed environments.
- Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs with monitoring, metrics, and fault tolerance.
- Experience with relational and NoSQL databases such as MySQL, Cassandra, Redis, or DynamoDB.
- Familiarity with server-side technologies including Elasticsearch and messaging systems.
- Experience with DevOps practices and cloud infrastructure management.
- Strong understanding of scalable architecture and production-grade systems.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and adapt quickly to changing priorities.
- Experience mentoring engineers or leading technical initiatives is a plus.
- Contributions to open-source projects are considered an advantage.
- Experience with Web3 technologies is a plus.
- Degree in Computer Science or related field is preferred but not mandatory.
