Who we are
DB Global Technology is Deutsche Bank’s technology center in Central and Eastern Europe. Since its set-up in 2014, Bucharest Technology Centre (BEX) has constantly proven its capacity to deliver global technology products and services, playing a dynamic role in the Bank’s technology transformation.
We are seeking a highly experienced QA Manual Tester for mobile apps to join our banking technology team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software quality assurance within financial systems, combined with a solid understanding of Agile methodologies.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Focus on manual testing: Lead and execute manual testing activities for mobile applications, ensuring thorough coverage of functional, usability, and compatibility aspects across iOS and Android platforms
- Plan and execute full set of test activities, specifically app testing with regard to Onboarding & Client Interaction: Test Analysis, Test case creation, Test execution, Defect Analysis as well as organising full test cycles
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and business analysts, to understand requirements and define comprehensive test plans
- Participate in agile ceremonies, such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives, to ensure efficient and timely delivery of high-quality software
- Utilize mobile testing techniques to ensure compatibility across different devices, screen sizes, and operating systems
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field
- Minimum 5–7 years of experience in manual testing, preferably in the banking or financial services sector
- Fundamental experience and a detailed understanding in manual testing of mobile apps
- In-depth understanding of mobile app development, testing methodologies, and best practices for iOS and Android platforms
- Effective team player with good communication, self-organization and interpersonal skills; able to work in an agile and multi-cultural environment with teams located in different time zones and changing or competing requirements
- Professional certifications in quality assurance and mobile testing (e.g., ISTQB, Mobile App Testing) are a plus
