What is the opportunity?

The Assistant Manager, Personal & Commercial Product Analytics for the Caribbean will play a key role as part of the Personal and Commercial products team to help drive RBC’s profile and market share across the region. Consults on analytical solutions to understand, analyze, and synthesize requirements, goals and objectives to enable high-quality, fact-based business decisions to drive better business outcomes.

What will you do?

  • Identifies emerging issues and trends to inform decision-making.
  • Recommends and implements solutions based on analysis of issues and implications for the business
  • Ensures alignment between stakeholders about business needs and data needs.
  • Assists with production of regular and ad-hoc reports, and dashboards.
  • Promotes reporting automation, self-serve analytics consumption, and the culture of analytics-driven decision making.
  • Assists with enterprise data migration

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum of three years in Financial Services Industry in a analytics specific role
  • In-depth knowledge of analytics and techniques required to analyze the portfolio and develop recommendations
  • Strong background in using technical skills related to reporting, analytics, data driven insights and/decision making and modelling (use of SAS, Tableau, Excel, Python, SQL)
  • Ability to effectively share ideas and capture the attention of your audience through different tools and tactics
  • Ability to create buy-in for your ideas, have credibility and be able to influence others
