Job Description
- Perform continuous monitoring of:
- Access control systems
- Video surveillance systems
- Intrusion detection systems
- Safety and environmental alarm systems
- Conduct initial triage and classification of events:
- Security events
- Safety (EHS) events
- Infrastructure-related incidents
- Execute incident escalation in accordance with GSOC escalation models:
- Security Operations teams
- EHS response teams
- IRC / Infrastructure Operations
- Support incident communication coordination:
- Notify relevant stakeholders
- Track escalation status
- Maintain incident timelines
- Monitor infrastructure operational alerts, including:
- Security system outages
- Access disruptions
- Facility-related operational issues
- Maintain real-time situational awareness during active incidents
- Maintain accurate incident logs, reports, and tracking records
- Adhere to GSOC standard operating procedures, escalation thresholds, and event classification models
- Support 24/7 operations, including shift-based monitoring coverage
Requirements:
- Diploma holder
- Any relevant working experience will be advantageous
- Basic understanding of Physical security systems (ACS, CCTV, IDS) and Data center operations and critical infrastructure environments
- Strong situational awareness and ability to perform structured triage
- Ability to follow escalation protocols with discipline and accuracy
- Willingness to work rotating shifts in a 24/7 operational environment
