What you'll be doing
In this role, you will:
- Advise clients on data product strategy, shaping their roadmap and implementation plan for data products, and oversee a team in the delivery of that plan.
- Establish and uphold governance frameworks that ensure transparency, traceability, and accountability across the product lifecycle embedding Agile best practices while aligning with regulatory and compliance standards.
- Identify and mitigate delivery and product risks, proactively resolving issues and managing dependencies across technical and business domains.
- Drive consistency of delivery, ensuring that Agile and, where appropriate, Waterfall methodologies are applied effectively to meet business requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and prioritise backlogs, balancing commercial value, user outcomes, technical feasibility, and delivery risk.
- Define product roadmap and success metrics in collaboration with cross-functional teams and clients, ensuring shared understanding and alignment.
- Manage and refine the Product Backlog where required, shaping epics and user stories in alignment with the product roadmap.
- Develop and oversee resource and delivery plans, integrating testing, release management, and delivery assurance into product roadmaps.
- Provide reporting on delivery progress, risks, dependencies, and value realisation to senior stakeholders and clients.
- Stay informed on emerging trends in product management, data, and AI delivery, applying new insights to strengthen frameworks, delivery practices, and product innovation.
What we’re looking for

You’ll bring:
- Demonstrable experience as a Product Manager with a strong understanding of data product strategy, able to advise clients on their roadmap and implementation plan for data products, and to oversee a team in the delivery of that plan.
- Six or more years’ experience driving the definition, delivery, and optimisation of data and AI products, demonstrating end-to-end ownership from discovery through to deployment and value realisation.
- Demonstrable experience leading Agile delivery at scale, translating product strategy into clear delivery plans, prioritised backlogs, and measurable outcomes.
- Strong knowledge of delivery governance, risk management, and compliance across different methodologies.
- Comprehensive understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and its application in waterfall and agile delivery.
- Proficiency in using delivery platforms e.g. Azure DevOps, Jira etc.
- Familiarity with diverse delivery methodologies, including Waterfall, Agile and Hybrid approaches.
- Planning and executing delivery using Agile methodologies (Scrum, KanBan, SAFe).
- Understanding of value realisation frameworks and the ability to build product business cases demonstrating ROI, efficiency gains, or customer experience improvements.
- Strong client-facing skills, with the ability to build trust and communicate delivery with any risks or dependencies effectively.
