About the job you’re considering

We are seeking a talented and experienced Product Manager to join our Digital Customer Experience (DCX) practice, with a particular focus on e-commerce and digital commerce transformation.

In this role, you will lead the definition, delivery, and optimisation of digital products and customer experiences that drive commercial growth, customer engagement, and measurable business outcomes. Working at the heart of multidisciplinary teams, you will bring together business, technology, design, data, and delivery expertise to define product strategy, shape roadmaps, and deliver innovative digital commerce solutions that create value for customers and organisations alike.

The successful candidate will combine strong product management expertise with a deep understanding of e-commerce ecosystems, customer journeys, digital marketplaces, and transactional experiences. You will champion user-centred design, ensuring customer needs are at the core of product decisions, while leveraging data, analytics, and market insights to prioritise opportunities, validate outcomes, and continuously optimise product performance.

Your role

Product Strategy & Vision •Define and communicate a compelling product vision aligned to customer needs, business objectives, and market opportunities. •Develop and maintain product roadmaps for digital, e-commerce, and customer experience initiatives. •Identify opportunities to improve digital customer journeys, conversion rates, and commercial performance. •Leverage customer insights, data and analytics, and market trends to prioritise product investments. •Contribute to business development activities by providing product leadership and e-commerce expertise in client engagements and proposals.

E-commerce Product Leadership •Lead the development and optimisation of e-commerce products and platforms across web, mobile, and digital channels throughout different stages of a product’s lifecycle. •Drive improvements across the end-to-end customer journey, including discovery, search, merchandising, checkout, payments, fulfilment, and post-purchase experiences. •Partner with stakeholders to define strategies that improve key metrics such as conversion, basket value, customer retention, and digital revenue. •Support clients in selecting and implementing modern commerce platforms and capabilities. •Stay informed on emerging trends in digital commerce, AI-powered personalisation, marketplaces, customer data, and omnichannel retail experiences.

Product Delivery •Own and prioritise product backlogs based on customer value, business impact, and strategic objectives. •Lead product discovery activities, including customer research, experimentation, and validation. •Work closely with engineering, UX, design, architecture, and delivery teams to translate business needs into actionable outcomes. •Champion agile delivery methodologies and best practices throughout the product lifecycle.

Stakeholder Management •Build trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders and internal leadership teams. •Facilitate workshops, product strategy sessions, and roadmap discussions. •Communicate product performance, opportunities, risks, and priorities effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Your skills and experience

Essential •Proven experience as a Product Manager delivering digital products and customer-facing platforms. •Experience delivering or managing e-commerce, digital commerce, retail, or transactional digital experiences. •Strong understanding of product strategy, product discovery, roadmap development, and agile delivery. •Knowledge of digital customer journeys, conversion optimisation, customer engagement, and online sales funnels. •Experience using data and analytics and customer data to drive product decisions and business outcomes.

Desirable •Experience with leading e-commerce platforms such as Adobe, Shopify, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, commercetools, or SAP Commerce. •Understanding of digital payments, loyalty programmes, customer data platforms (CDPs), and personalisation technologies. •Experience delivering omnichannel customer experiences across digital and physical channels. •Knowledge of AI-enabled commerce capabilities, including personalisation, recommendations, search, and customer service automation. •Experience working across both Public Sector and Private Sector organisations.
