The role:

We are looking for a hands-on Python developer to join a small back-end team.

You'll spend most of your time refactoring and extending existing FastAPI applications, building and maintaining integrations with Zephr/Zuora.

Responsibilities

  • Refactor and improve existing FastAPI applications for maintainability and performance
  • Work on migrations of data from our existing infrastructure with Zephr/Zuora guidance. Design and build integrations with Zephr/Zuora platforms, APIs, Webhooks
  • Optimize PostgreSQL schema and queries for reliability and scale. Deploy and manage services in Kubernetes on Azure
  • Participate in code review and architectural decisions in a small team

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of production Python experience
  • Strong PostgreSQL knowledge (schema design, query optimization, migrations)
  • Hands-on experience with FastAPI or similar async frameworks
  • Comfort with Kubernetes deployments and cloud infrastructure (Azure a plus, others fine)

Brownie points:

  • Prior exposure to Zephr or Zuora integrations (not required, we'll train you :))
