JOB SUMMARY
We are looking for an experienced Automation Test Engineer with hands-on expertise in testing Oracle ERP and EPM Cloud applications, combined with strong programming and test automation framework skills using Python, Java, TypeScript, Selenium, and Playwright. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working within CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps and possess a solid understanding of API testing to validate integrations across enterprise systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Design,
develop, and maintain automated test scripts for Oracle ERP/EPM modules (Financials, Procurement, SCM, HCM, Planning, Consolidation, as applicable).
- Build
and enhance automation frameworks using Selenium and Playwright with Python and/or TypeScript.
- Perform
API testing (REST/SOAP) to validate integrations between Oracle ERP/EPM and other enterprise systems.
- Develop,
maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps for automated test execution.
- Create
and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on functional and business requirements.
- Identify,
log, and track defects, and collaborate with development teams through resolution.
- Work
with functional and business analysts to understand Oracle ERP/EPM configurations and business processes.
- Conduct
regression, integration, and functional testing across ERP/EPM releases and patches.
- Prepare
test summary reports and maintain test documentation and traceability matrices.
- Participate
in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
Requirements
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 3–5
years of experience in automation and QA testing.
- Working
knowledge of Oracle ERP Cloud (Financials, SCM, Procurement) and/or Oracle EPM Cloud (Planning, FCCS, Consolidation).
- Strong
programming skills in Python and/or Java, with working knowledge of TypeScript.
- Hands-on
experience with Selenium WebDriver and/or Playwright for web automation.
- Experience
in API testing using tools such as Postman, Rest Assured, or similar, with the ability to validate REST and SOAP services.
- Practical
experience with Azure DevOps for test case management, pipelines, and CI/CD integration.
- Solid
understanding of the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and defect management processes.
- Strong
analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent
communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional, onshore, and offshore teams.
Good to Have
- Experience
testing Oracle Fusion Cloud applications.
- Knowledge
of SQL/PL-SQL for backend data validation.
- Experience
with performance testing tools.
