Full description

We are looking for a Business Analyst to join the Quality Control team.

The team safeguards the quality of operations across every division at Plata. Supported by a large team of specialists and AI-driven quality monitoring, we identify operational issues, process gaps, and improvement opportunities across the organization.

In this role, you will own the quality improvement loop end-to-end: analyzing findings, identifying root causes, coordinating stakeholders, and ensuring issues are resolved rather than simply reported. You will work closely with operational, product, analytics, and training teams to improve processes, drive efficiency, and enhance customer experience.

This role offers direct visibility into how the company operates at scale and the opportunity to influence quality standards across multiple business domains.

Challenges that await you:

  • Monitor quality dashboards and metrics across our operational and product teams to spot anomalies, gaps, and recurring issues
  • Dig into the root cause of every issue — across operations, product, the knowledge base, and the technical setup — to understand why it happens, not just that it happens
  • Own the quality-improvement loop end-to-end: turn raw findings from our QC platform into a clear, prioritized action plan
  • Coordinate fixes across operational and product teams: set tasks with the right owners, agree on timelines, and follow through until they’re closed
  • Build and prioritize a backlog of quality issues and plan their resolution quarter by quarter
  • Partner with our L&D / training team to roll out training where the fix belongs in operations

What makes you a great fit:

  • 1–2 years of experience in a similar analytical, business, or process role
  • Confident with numbers and metrics, with sharp logic and structured problem-solving
  • A proactive, persistent, get-it-done attitude — you enjoy chasing a problem across teams until it’s actually solved, not just reported
  • Strong communication skills: you’ll be working hand-in-hand with operational teams every day
  • Willingness to relocate to Mexico City and work closely with operational teams and stakeholders across multiple product domains
  • B2 or higher English level for effective communication with an international team

Your bonus skills:

  • Hands-on experience working with analytics independently
  • Experience running tests / experiments and working with product metrics

Our ways of working:

• Innovative Spirit: A commitment to creativity and groundbreaking solutions

• Honest Feedback: valuing open, transparent communication

• Supportive Team: a strong, collaborative community

• Celebrating Achievements: recognizing our wins together

• High-Tech Environment: a team full of smart and revolutionary people who date to challenge the status quo of incumbent finances

Our benefits:

• Relocation support to Mexico with assistance for the employee and their family

• Flexible work from our office

• Healthcare Coverage

• Education Budget: Language lessons, professional training and certifications

• Wellness Budget: Mental health and fitness activity reimbursements

• Vacation policy: 20 days of annual leave and paid sick leave
