Position Summary:

Responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement. This role plays a crucial role in transforming data into actionable insights that drive strategic business decisions. The ideal candidate will have expertise in data visualization and reporting will help stakeholders understand complex information and make informed decisions.

Qualifications:

A bachelor’s degree in related field and/or equivalent work experience is required. Graduate degree in a related or supporting field is preferred.

A minimum of five (5) years of experience in Data Analytics and reporting in banking or a similar industry.

Proven experience developing reports in a business intelligence tool (Cognos and Power BI preferred).

Experience working with large datasets and relational databases.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills to efficiently present data findings and recommendations to executive management.

Essential Duties:

Gather and analyze data from various sources to support business objectives. Provide reporting on operational performance and translate analytics into actionable presentations.

Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations to communicate insights effectively.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and provide analytical support.

Identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and track performance against targets.

Conduct ad-hoc analysis to answer specific business questions and provide recommendations.

Thoroughly understand all bank systems and reports to avoid conflicting data or redundancy. Ensure data accuracy and integrity by performing regular data validation and quality checks. Regularly review all existing reporting to confirm accuracy, adequacy, and necessity.

Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in business intelligence and data analytics.
