We're seeking an experienced Engineer - Java, AWS, Vertex to develop and support enterprise Java applications while driving cloud-native solutions on AWS. The ideal candidate has strong expertise in Java/JEE development, AWS cloud services, Terraform, CI/CD automation, and DevOps practices, with experience building scalable, secure, and highly available enterprise applications.

Duration: 12 months
Duties:
- Design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications using Java/JEE and modern web technologies.
- Build cloud-native applications and services leveraging AWS infrastructure.
- Design and implement CI/CD pipelines using AWS CodePipeline, CodeBuild, CodeDeploy, CodeCommit, and Git repositories.
- Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform to automate cloud infrastructure deployment.
- Build and maintain RESTful APIs and enterprise system integrations.
- Implement DevOps best practices, including automated testing, deployment, monitoring, and infrastructure automation.
- Design secure cloud networking solutions and optimize application performance.
- Utilize Spring Framework, dependency injection, transaction management, and enterprise Java design patterns.
- Participate in Agile development, code reviews, troubleshooting, and production support.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, high-quality software solutions.
Skills:
- Expert-level Java/JEE development experience.
- Deep knowledge of AWS cloud services and cloud architecture.
- Hands-on experience with AWS CI/CD services (CodePipeline, CodeBuild, CodeDeploy, CodeCommit).
- Strong Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) experience.
- Experience with DevOps methodologies, automation, and continuous delivery.
- Knowledge of AWS networking, IAM, VPCs, load balancing, and cloud security.
- Experience with Spring Boot, Spring Framework, Hibernate, and REST API development.
- Familiarity with Git, automated build tools, and Agile development.
- Experience with Groovy and/or Ruby is a plus.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Experience:
- 5+ years of Java enterprise application development experience.
- 3+ years of AWS cloud engineering experience.
- Proven experience implementing Terraform-based infrastructure automation.
- Experience designing and supporting enterprise CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with DevOps, cloud modernization, and production support.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related discipline. Equivalent work experience may be considered.
