Position Summary:

The Manager, Healthcare Quality Project Management, will be a critical, strategic project manager in Quality Management, responsible for driving process improvement efforts and business project management on the HEDIS Business Optimization team.  The successful candidate will be able to provide support for strategy development and execution of key Quality priorities.  They will identify and collaborate to implement best practices, lead operational efficiencies and cross-functional communication.

  • Manage health care quality projects, performance improvement, and initiatives through strategic project management
  • Collaborate and engage with stakeholders across teams to drive results; able to form and lead virtual teams
  • Support decision making regarding the design, development, prioritization, implementation, and evaluation strategy of quality improvement projects and HEDIS initiatives aligned with company values and Medicare and Duals business goals
  • Use key data to identify performance trends and conducts analyses to support business decisions based on findings
  • Able to effectively communicate information, impact, and influence across teams and business areas to drive business performance
  • Execute strategy to facilitate and drive a service and continuous improvement culture in the HEDIS organization.

Required Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of related experience in Project and/or Program Management
  • 1 year of quality, HEDIS and or Stars experience
  • Proven management experience in a metrics driven and deadline driven environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to plan, organize, and execute multiple functional business objectives.
  • Advanced skill level with MS Office Programs: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years of Quality Management/HEDIS experience
  • PMP, Six Sigma Black Belt, Agile Scrum Master and/or Kaizen certification
  • Good business acumen, professional communication skills both written and verbal

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$54,300.00 - $132,600.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
