About the role
- Lead and develop a team of software and electronic design engineers.
- Plan and manage resources and budgets, with optimal use of both internal and external resources.
- Develop employee and team competencies, tools and processes to support the roadmap delivery and company strategy.
- Provide engineering excellence support for product development projects and Life Cycle activities.
- Cooperate and build relationships with internal and external partners (e. g. other functions in the company, approval agencies, suppliers).
- Define and implement technology strategies.
- Develop a network of external partners to improve performance by providing additional required competencies and capacity.
- Initiate and support monitoring of technical and regulatory trends, derive and implement actions (e.g technology studies).

Role Requirements
Education/Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in electronic engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science or similar. (Masters preferred.)
Related Experience
- Experience in designing software and hardware for embedded electronic systems.
- Experience in leading technical developments of embedded systems within multi-disciplinary engineering environment.
- Experience of planning and budgeting development projects
- Experience with current software development methodology (embedded & apps).
- Knowledge of project management for software and electronics development
- Must be able to effectively assess and troubleshoot technical problems
- Willingness to take on and learn new technologies
- Experience of leveraging AI tools to drive innovation and project delivery..
