In Argentina, we are actively seeking a Middle Android Engineer to build and scale native mobile applications using modern technologies and AI-powered tools. In this role, you will work on complex, multi-module architectures to deliver high-quality, resilient mobile solutions.
This is you
- Native proficiency in Kotlin, including Coroutines and Flow for reactive and asynchronous programming.
- Deep experience building dynamic, declarative user interfaces using Jetpack Compose.
- Strong expertise in MVVM/MVI design patterns, Clean Architecture principles, and multi-module project structure.
- Proven experience with Dagger Hilt for dependency injection.
- Solid experience integrating REST APIs using Retrofit, OkHttp, and JSON serialization.
- Hands-on experience with unit testing (JUnit, MockK) and static analysis tools (ktlint, Detekt, SonarQube, JaCoCo).
- Proficient in Git workflows, Gradle configurations in multi-module environments, and CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI, Bitrise).
- Practical experience leveraging AI-powered development tools such as GitHub Copilot and Cursor to enhance coding efficiency.
- Autonomous mindset with the ability to deliver complex technical features end-to-end.
Nice-to-have skills:
- Experience with memory management, performance profiling tools, and mobile application optimization.
- Familiarity with reactive programming and advanced architectural patterns.
This is your role
- Design, implement, and maintain native Android components using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.
- Build scalable, decoupled multi-module applications following Clean Architecture and Google best practices.
- Integrate RESTful services and manage API payloads efficiently using Retrofit and OkHttp.
- Write comprehensive unit tests and maintain high code quality standards through static code analysis and code reviews.
- Configure and maintain Gradle builds and CI/CD automation pipelines for continuous deployment.
- Utilize AI tools (Copilot, Cursor) to streamline development workflows, optimize code generation, and accelerate unit test writing.
- Troubleshoot performance bottlenecks, conduct app profiling, and ensure optimal memory management.
