Your Role at Cabot:

The Financial Analyst for the CST business supports global planning, analysis, and reporting, including actuals, forecasts, budgets, P&L, working capital, and capital-related activities. This role validates financial inputs, analyzes trends and variances, maintains reporting tools and forecast models, and delivers timely insights for business decisions. The role includes ad hoc analysis for emerging needs and periodic workload peaks during budget preparation, forecast cycles, and executive reviews. This position partners with finance, commercial, operations, technology, and accounting stakeholders and reports to the Senior Finance Business Partner for CST Operations.

How you will make an impact:

  • Support monthly financial reporting, forecast, budget, and long-range planning processes by preparing inputs, consolidations, and variance analyses for P&L, working capital, and capital-related activities.
  • Maintain and update commercial and operational forecast models across regions; analyze key business drivers, trends, and risks/opportunities to support management review.
  • Generate recurring management reports, dashboards, and presentation materials that summarize actual and forecasted financial performance in a clear and cohesive manner.
  • Gather, validate, and interpret estimated and actual monthly results for the business, function, region, or location; collaborate with accounting and business stakeholders to improve data quality and consistency.
  • Analyze business metrics, profitability, contribution performance, manufacturing costs, overheads, and other financial drivers to identify variances and provide fact-based insights.
  • Provide timely ad hoc analysis, including scenario modeling, sensitivity analysis, pricing support, capital appropriation support, and performance tracking.
  • Use financial systems and analytical tools, including Excel, Power BI, OBI, JDE, and related reporting platforms, to evaluate results and develop tools that improve business decision-making.
  • Participate in reporting system implementations, process improvement projects, and enhancements to core financial processes in partnership with finance, accounting, operations, and commercial teams.
  • Develop an understanding of product, supply chain, and manufacturing cost structures and how cost drivers impact business strategy and financial performance.
  • Stay current on financial tools, reporting practices, and industry trends; collaborate with other financial analysts and cross-functional partners to achieve organizational objectives.

What you will bring to Cabot:

  • University degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field; MBA or advanced finance coursework is a plus.
  • Experience in a financial analyst capacity, preferably within a manufacturing, industrial, operations, or global business environment.
  • High accuracy, attention to detail, and sound judgment when managing multiple priorities.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills; experience with Power BI, OBI, JDE, Power Apps, SQL, or similar tools is desirable.
  • Ability to communicate financial information clearly in written reports, presentations, and discussions with finance and non-finance stakeholders.
  • Collaborative approach with the ability to build trust across functions and geographies.
  • Good knowledge of English language.

Additional Information:

  • Permanent contract.
  • Working hours: 9:00 - 17:30.
  • Health insurance from first day of work.
  • Monthly allowance & yearly bonus.
  • Hybrid work schedule (3 days on site and 2 days’ work from home).
  • Salary: 2300 - 3150 EUR Gross. The final salary offer will depend on the candidate’s previous experience and qualifications.
