FULL TIME PERMANENT JOB OPPORTUNITY
Project Manager – Planning & Infrastructure
Salary Range: $72,000.00 - $80,000.00 (dependent on experience)
JOB SUMMARY:
The Project Manager is responsible for planning, executing and closing projects ensuring they are completed on time, within scope and within budget.
POSITION DUTIES:
- Develop detailed project plans, timelines and budgets
- Define project scope, goals and deliverables
- Coordinate internal resources and third party vendors
- Monitor project progress and adjust plans as needed
- Perform risk management and resolve issues proactively
- Communicate with stakeholders and provide regular updates
- Ensure quality control throughout the project lifecycle
- Conduct post-project evaluations and implement improvements.
- Maintain accurate records including project note documentation, progress reports and all
- other functions within the electronic records management system.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:
- Valid driver’s license and vehicle for on-the-job use.
- Sign and maintain an annual oath of confidentiality.
- Secure and maintain certification in Privacy and Confidentiality.
- Must provide a criminal record check prior to commencing employment.
- Respect for, sensitivity towards as well as knowledge and understanding of Anishnawbek culture, traditions, and the Seven Grandfather Teachings.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Is subject to six months’ probation.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Post Secondary Degree or Diploma in business, engineering or related field
- Proven experience in project management, typically 3 – 5 years
- PMP, CAPM or equivalent certification preferred
- Familiar with project management software such as MS Project, Asana, Trello
- Knowledge of community resources and services considered an asset.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within and across interdisciplinary teams and community partners.
- Familiarity with system navigation models and principles, an asset.
- Excellent communication skills (both written and oral).
- Superior interpersonal, collaboration, facilitation, and negotiation skills.
