POSITION SUMMARY:

The Beaker System Analyst provides analytical, technical, and implementation support of our world class Epic EHR with a primary focus on our Beaker application for Hattiesburg Clinic’s Lab & Pathology workflows. Beaker System Analysts are responsible for implementing system upgrades, building requested enhancements to the system and any related third-party applications, testing, maintenance, as well as having a working knowledge of Cogito’s reporting capabilities, plus assisting with resolution of end-user issues.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • High school diploma or equivalent, required
  • Degree in laboratory science, computer science, mathematics, health informatics, public health, any natural science or related discipline, required
  • In lieu of a formal degree, relevant healthcare experience may be considered
  • Lab/Pathology experience, preferred
  • Working knowledge of an EHR and clinical workflows, preferred

  • It is required to receive Epic certification within 6 months of hire and will require some travel
  • Overtime may be required

Monday - Friday, 8:00AM - 5:00PM
