Responsibilities

  • Design, build and evolve Azure cloud architectures aligned with Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF), Well‑Architected Framework (WAF), CATP reference architecture and landing zones
  • Architect scalable, secure and high‑performance solutions across Azure compute, storage, networking and security services
  • Embed security, compliance and governance by design, covering identity and access management, data protection, threat detection and MCSB requirements
  • Optimise architectures for cost efficiency, availability and performance, leveraging Azure cost‑management tools and best practices
  • Act as a trusted advisor to cross‑functional teams, providing architectural guidance, best practices and recommendations on Azure technologies and patterns
  • Conduct architecture reviews and assessments, ensuring alignment with organisational standards, strategy and business objectives

Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in cloud architecture, with strong focus on Microsoft Azure environments
  • Proven experience designing and implementing Azure solutions based on CAF and WAF principles
  • Hands‑on expertise with Azure services (compute, storage, networking, security) and Infrastructure as Code (ARM, Terraform, Bicep)
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, translating complex requirements into effective architectural solutions
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate, influence and advise multiple stakeholders in cloud transformation initiatives
  • Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert certification and additional Azure, security or compliance certifications are a plus
