Project Manager - Building Automation - Egypt

Key Areas of Responsibility

  • Develop and lead the project excution plan, including scope, schedule, budget, and resource requirements
  • Developing trust and managing the relationship with customers and ensuring a shared understanding of key issues between all parties is maintained, maintain customer relationships at the appropriate project management level
  • Support project manager in the contractual requirements of the project to ensure Honeywell’s risk exposure is minimised and controlled through timely responses and internal escalation. Make sure that contracual obligation are delivered on time.
  • Own the project site schedule and ensure timely delivery in terms of cost, specifications, and client satisfaction.
  • Manage and coordinate cross-functional teams including engineers, technicians, and subcontractors. Foster a collaborative and productive team environment.
  • Implement the company QA/QC procedures and ensure works meet quality standards and specifications.
  • Assess project progress, productivity, performance and implement action for improvement pre-emptively.
  • Work with the planning team to develop detailed and accurate work schedules, daily and weekly metrics and reporting data.
  • Prepare project reports including progress, performance, EVM, forecast, risks and mitigation plan.
  • Ensure the keeping of accurate and up-to-date daily records of site progress and key issues through site diaries.
  • Provide input on all VO’s and contractual claims ensuring that the construction-related substantiation in notifications and follow-up is clearly defined, accurate and demonstrable.
  • Follow up and track all Retention and Defects Liability Period punch-lists/snags to ensure close out of work packages and release of retention monies.
  • Direct the day to day operations of the project teams.
  • Define all subcontract /supply requirements and work with Supply Chain to ensure all subcontractor/supplier contracts and orders are appropriate for the project from a scope/cost and risk viewpoint. Lead or participate in negotiations as necessary
  • Ensure a safe working environment on site for all employees, subcontractors, suppliers, Clients and visitors. Lead the achievement of company safety targets and zero tolerance of unsafe working practices and occurrence
