Position Overview Type: Full-Time, Exempt Location: Colorado Springs, CO Travel: Yes Clearance: Active TS/SCI Work Authorization: U.S. Citizenship required

Summary/Objective Five Stones Research Corporation (5SRC) is seeking energetic candidates to join our established and growing Huntsville-headquartered team.

Essential Functions

  • Performs data gathering, research, and analysis while conducting threat, vulnerability, risk, and maturity assessments.
  • Applies critical thinking, develops plans for the improvement of the risk management-related program and contributes to constant innovation and improvement.
  • Independently executes Cybersecurity Controls Validation Test events, Cybersecurity assessment of system authorization packages, software and hardware, and Cybersecurity Risk Assessment tasks.
  • Develops plans to support Controls Validation Test events.
  • Performs, or supports, security inspections, identifying security discrepancies and prepares reports.
  • Prepares and presents briefings to SCA/AO.
  • Prepares various forms associated with their duties.
  • Performs courier duties within the continental United States (CONUS).
  • Performs objective reviews on all documentation encountered during performance of duties.

Required Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or related field
  • Four (4) years’ experience (in addition to minimum experience requirements) may be substituted for a Bachelor’s degree.
  • 10+ years of experience of cybersecurity field experience
  • DoD 8570.01-M Information IAT III or IASAE III prior to accepting position
  • Risk Management Framework / JSIG and cybersecurity risk assessment experience.
  • Ability to obtain indoctrination into Special Access Programs

Preferred Experience

  • Previous SCA and/or ISSO/ISSM experience
