We are seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst II to design, develop, and maintain data analytics and business intelligence solutions that support strategic decision-making across the organization. In this role, you will partner with data scientists, analysts, clinical stakeholders, and business leaders to transform complex data into meaningful insights. You will also help guide and mentor junior analysts while driving innovation, scalability, and reliability across our analytics platforms.

What you'll do

  • Design, develop, and maintain business intelligence solutions that provide actionable insights and support operational and clinical decision-making.
  • Create and enhance dashboards, reports, and data visualizations using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker, and QlikView.
  • Build, optimize, and maintain data models, analytical frameworks, and data processing workflows that improve performance and scalability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, identify opportunities, and deliver data-driven solutions that meet business needs.
  • Mentor junior analysts and promote best practices in analytics, reporting, and data governance.

Who you are

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Nursing, or a related field.
  • Experience developing business intelligence and analytics solutions, including strong SQL skills and familiarity with the Epic Clarity Data Model.
  • Knowledge of data visualization and reporting tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or QlikView.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into meaningful reporting and analytics solutions while collaborating effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Epic Certification in the area of responsibility is required.

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience working with Health Catalyst Subject Area Mart (SAM).
  • Experience in systems analysis and healthcare information technology environments.
  • Clinical experience in nursing and/or acute care settings.
  • Experience supporting healthcare analytics, clinical reporting, and operational improvement initiatives.
