Requirements

Candidates must have a bachelor's degree in a technical field, 15+ years of software engineering experience, and 7+ years of people leadership experience. Deep domain expertise in Fire & Life Safety technologies and regulatory standards such as UL 864 and NFPA 72 is required.

Full description

Honeywell is seeking an experienced and visionary Senior Engineering Manager to lead the development, delivery, and evolution of its Fire Software portfolio. This role will provide engineering leadership across cloud platforms, mobile applications, connected services, IoT integrations, compliance solutions, monitoring systems, technician productivity solutions, and next-generation AI-enabled offerings supporting the Fire business.

The successful candidate will lead multiple engineering teams and managers, drive technology strategy, and partner closely with Product Management, Architecture, Quality Engineering, Cybersecurity, Program Management, and Business Leadership to deliver innovative, secure, scalable, and reliable solutions for customers worldwide.

This role requires a balance of strong technical depth, organizational leadership, operational excellence, and domain expertise in Fire & Life Safety technologies.

You will report directly to our Sr. Director of Software Engineering and you’ll work out of our Duluth, GA location on a Hybrid work schedule.

Hybrid Work Schedule Note: For the first 90 days New Hires must be prepared to work 100% onsite Monday – Friday.
