We're looking for a Senior Security Engineer to join our team and work closely with our US-based customers, so this role requires availability that overlaps with US business hours.
This is a hands-on, customer-facing role, working closely with our US team to support customers throughout the day. You'll be embedded directly in customer environments: configuring and customizing the Hypernative platform, scripting integrations and custom monitoring logic in Python, and guiding customers through implementation and day-to-day use of our security tools.

Responsibilities
- Risk Strategy - assist customers in conducting thorough analyses of their Web3 assets, evaluate their security postures, and assess associated risks; advise on optimal configurations for risk monitoring tools; and develop comprehensive monitoring and response plans covering preventive measures, detection techniques, and incident response strategies
- Customer Collaboration and Support - maintain continuous communication with customers, keeping them informed of potential security issues and shifts in the threat landscape
- Partner Collaboration - work with technology and ecosystem partners on joint integrations and solutions that support customer environments
- Training and Enablement - deliver security training and enablement sessions to client teams, from technical staff to non-technical stakeholders
- Sales Support - support Sales on professional services scoping, proposals, and technical positioning
- Implementation and Configuration - configure and customize the Hypernative platform for each customer's environment, including custom rules, integrations, and Python scripting, and provide hands-on support to ensure security practices integrate cleanly with existing workflows
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- In-depth understanding of Web3 technologies, decentralized systems, and blockchain security concepts
- Advanced understanding of cybersecurity principles, best practices, and industry standards as they apply to digital assets and blockchain technologies
- Working proficiency in Python for scripting, integrations, and custom monitoring logic
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively, including with external partners
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex security concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Proven track record of effective customer-facing engagements, with patience, professionalism, and a customer-first attitude
