ABOUT THE ROLE The core of Project Manager II is ensuring projects are set up properly and move through the workflow efficiently, helping team members understand their involvement and keeping clients informed and on track. You will be part of our Project Management team in managing dedicated projects, collaborating with Strategy, Creative and Tech teams, and handling day-to-day client interaction in collaboration with the Account team. The range of tasks includes setting up jobs in our workflow software, allocating the correct resources, and scheduling and reviewing creative deliverables with both internal stakeholders and directly with clients. We’re looking for someone with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with all internal team members while keeping focus on the clients’ goals and needs. KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Exercises a high degree of discretion to successfully support the creative department. Serves as the lead partner to the Account Manager while comfortable in an external client-facing role. Collaborates across teams to understand project scopes; reviews materials, builds timelines, manages team activities, and creates project documentation. Manages day-to-day project schedules/calendars to track campaign and deliverable milestones Manages project resources and tasks across digital and print campaigns. Ensures that the project outcomes meet the deliverable deadlines and the required standard of quality on budget. Serves as a coach and mentor to other Project Managers on your team across various workflows. Monitors project risks to foresee/identify potential problems while proactively identifying solutions to address them in advance. Oversees post-production timelines, development of all assets, QCing and managing final delivery. Sets and defines new processes as needed. EXPERIENCE REQUIRED At least five (5) years of project management experience, preferably in a digital or traditional advertising agency Familiarity with project management techniques and tools, Asana or Azure Dev Ops experience a plus Familiarity with design tools and development terminology; knowledge of Adobe CS, Invision, Figma, Sketch App a plus but not required. Experience working with external vendors and/or agency partners Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with all internal team members while keeping focus on the client’s goals and needs. Experience excelling within fast-paced, high-energy environments Interest in being involved in every part of the creative process, from strategy through delivery Strong interest in digital experiences BA in Marketing or related field preferred (or equivalent work experience in the field) EXPERIENCE PREFERRED Familiarity with project management techniques and tools, Asana, or Azure Dev Ops experience a plus. This job operates in a clerical, office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, and vibration. The noise level in the work environment can be loud.
