About The Job
As our new Product Compliance Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring that Alfa Laval’s membrane products meet relevant regulatory, legal, and industry requirements across the markets where we operate.
Working closely with R&D, Operations, Quality, Sourcing, Engineering & Supply, and other stakeholders including corporate functions, you will ensure compliance is embedded throughout the product lifecycle. You will combine regulatory expertise with practical problem-solving, stakeholder management, and project leadership to turn complex requirements into clear actions and sustainable solutions. In this role, you will:
- Develop and implement compliance strategies for new and existing products.
- Where relevant, monitor legislation, standards, and regulatory developments and assess their impact on our membrane products.
- Identify compliance risks and develop appropriate mitigation plans.
- Coordinate product testing, certification, and approval activities.
- Prepare, review, and maintain compliance documentation, including certificates, declarations, and technical files.
- Ensure products meet the requirements needed to enter and remain in target markets.
- Provide guidance and support to teams across the organization on compliance requirements and best practices.
- Work with regulatory authorities, third-party laboratories, certification bodies, and customers.

This position is based at our Søborg office, with an expected travel commitment of approximately 25–30 days per year.
What You Know
- You bring 5–10 years of experience in product compliance, regulatory affairs, , or a related field, preferably within a regulated industry such as food or pharma.
- You have a master’s degree in chemical engineering, Chemistry, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. A PhD is an advantage.
- You have proven experience with product testing, certification, and approval processes across different markets.
- You have experience managing compliance-related projects and coordinating activities across multiple stakeholders.
- You have strong experience and knowledge of relevant regulatory frameworks such as Food Contact Material Regulations (EU, USA, China, Japan) REACH, , USDA, CE, RoHS, and cyber security requirements.
- Knowledge in pharma requirements is a plus.
- Experience within the membrane industry is an advantage.
- You have full professional proficiency in English, both written and spoken.

Curious and agile by nature, you continuously develop your knowledge and stay ahead of changes in regulations, industry trends, and best practices.
