Meet the Team

The Cisco Cloud Control team is building a common operating layer across Cisco's cloud-managed and controller-based products. Shared platform services allow customers to understand and manage their environment across product boundaries. This role sits in the group responsible for assurance, topology, data ingestion and shared data services. The team partners with controller teams and ThousandEyes. It also works closely with Splunk, AI Canvas, security, support and customer-facing organizations. The work gives Cloud Control the trusted context required for operational use cases that no single product can support alone.

Your Impact

  • Own the product strategy and multi-quarter roadmap for the Cisco Cloud Control assurance and data platform. Set clear outcomes for ingestion, normalization, correlation and data consumption.
  • Define how controllers and Cisco products contribute assurance, topology, configuration, inventory, posture and asset data. Establish product contracts for schema, provenance, freshness and source ownership.
  • Drive delivery of a governed data layer that creates a trusted cross-domain composite while source systems remain authoritative for their domain facts.
  • Turn the platform into customer-facing capabilities for client-to-cloud intent validation, cross-domain root cause analysis, formal verification, compliance evidence and recommended remediation.
  • Lead execution across product and engineering organizations. Set measurable targets for source onboarding, data quality, latency, scale, reliability, adoption and support readiness.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree with 12+ years of related experience, or Master's degree with 8+ years of related experience, or PhD with 5+ years of related experience.
  • 8+ years of product management, technical product management or platform product management experience in cloud, networking, observability or enterprise infrastructure.
  • 5+ years of experience working with data platforms, network assurance, telemetry systems, distributed systems or related platform services.
  • Experience defining data ingestion, schema, API or event contracts, normalization, data quality, lineage and provenance requirements.
  • Experience leading a platform initiative from product definition through production delivery across multiple engineering and product teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with network controllers, network assurance, topology, configuration management or client-to-cloud observability.
  • Experience designing product requirements for streaming and batch ingestion, entity resolution, historical data and correlation services.
  • Knowledge of root cause analysis, intent validation, formal verification, policy evaluation or pre-change analysis.
  • Experience integrating with platforms such as ThousandEyes, Splunk, ServiceNow or AI and agent workflow systems.
  • Ability to make technical trade-offs clear to senior leaders and align teams that have separate roadmaps and ownership models.
