Job Description

• Digital Learning & Experience Designer
• Permannet – Full Time
• Location: Auckland or Christchurch

Design exceptional digital learning experiences that make a real difference.

At AsureQuality, our purpose is to inspire confidence in New Zealand's food and primary products. We're looking for a Digital Learning & Experience Designer to take ownership of our digital learning products and help shape the future of learning across our commercial training business.

This is more than an instructional design role. You'll combine learning design, technology, product ownership and innovation to deliver engaging digital learning experiences using Canvas LMS, AI-enabled tools and other learning technologies.

About the role

Working as part of our Academy team, you'll own the end-to-end delivery of digital learning products—from concept and design through to build, implementation and continuous improvement.

You'll partner with subject matter experts to transform technical and regulatory content into engaging, learner-centred experiences while continually improving our learning platforms and digital products.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and launch engaging digital learning products
• Configure and optimise LMS, SMS and other integrated systems
• Collaborate with SMEs, customers and technology vendors
• Improve learner experiences through automation and digital innovation
• Use learner insights and analytics to drive continuous improvement
• Explore and implement emerging technologies, including AI-enabled learning tools

Qualifications

About you

You'll be an experienced digital learning professional who enjoys delivering high-quality products and solving problems through technology.

You'll bring:

• Experience designing and delivering end-to-end digital learning products
• Strong instructional design and adult learning knowledge
• Experience administering Learning Management Systems (Canvas experience is highly desirable)
• Experience with e-learning authoring tools, multimedia and digital content development
• Knowledge of SCORM, xAPI and contemporary learning technologies
• Excellent stakeholder management and project delivery skills
• A passion for creating engaging learner experiences and embracing new technology

Experience developing NZQA-accredited programmes or working within regulated industries such as food safety, compliance or the primary sector would be an advantage.
