Own the network security backbone for a major financial services enterprise, real ownership, not a support seat.
What you'll own
· Day-to-day operation and support of enterprise Fortinet infrastructure in a high-security, financial services environment
· Building methods of procedure (MOPs) for migrations, upgrades and releases that hold up under audit
· Testing new features and releases before they touch production
· Evaluating how third-party devices interoperate with Fortinet products
· Training client staff so they're not dependent on you for everything
· Being the person who catches issues early and escalates the ones that matter
Must-haves
· 7+ years in LAN/WAN/Internet consulting, support or administration
· 5+ years with network security products, 2+ years specifically with Fortinet
· Strong hands-on FortiGate firewall expertise
· Strong knowledge of Fortinet SD-WAN design, with hands-on experience in a global, multi-site architecture
· Comfort working in a regulated, high-stakes financial environment
· Must be authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship
Nice-to-haves
· ADVPN experience
· 2 to 3 Fortinet certifications, EPSP-track certifications are the best-case scenario
· Prior professional services or consulting engineer experience
· Solid grounding in switching, routing, load balancing, WiFi, IPS, VPN, antivirus/antispam, web filtering and application control
