Compassion Behavioral Health (CBH) is a provider of behavioral healthcare services dedicated to providing comprehensive, compassionate care to adults experiencing mental health and substance use disorders. We are currently seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our PHP Housing team. This position is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, sanitation, organization, and overall appearance of our 45-bed townhouse-style housing environment.

Because our housing environment is an important part of the client experience, we are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, notices what needs attention, and can independently maintain a consistently clean and welcoming space.

Position Details

• Position: Housekeeper – PHP Housing

• Employment Type: Full-Time

• Schedule: 8:00 AM–4:00 PM or 9:00 AM–5:00 PM

• Location: Fort Lauderdale, FL

• Setting: 45-bed PHP townhouse-style housing

• Reports To: Housing Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning and sanitizing throughout the PHP housing environment, including client bedrooms, bathrooms, common areas, kitchens, hallways, and other designated spaces.

• Maintain cleanliness and organization across the townhouse units throughout the scheduled shift.

• Clean and disinfect high-touch and high-traffic areas in accordance with established infection-control and safety practices.

• Make beds, change linens, and assist with laundry and other housekeeping needs as assigned.

• Restock toiletries, paper products, cleaning supplies, linens, and other necessary household items.

• Monitor housekeeping supplies and notify leadership when inventory needs to be replenished.

• Complete scheduled deep-cleaning assignments and additional cleaning projects as needed.

• Identify and promptly report maintenance concerns, safety hazards, damaged items, or other facility concerns to the appropriate team member.

• Follow CBH policies and procedures regarding safety, infection control, confidentiality, and professional conduct.

• Work collaboratively with the Housekeeping, Operations, and PHP Housing teams to ensure client living spaces remain clean, safe, organized, and welcoming.

• Complete additional housekeeping duties as assigned based on the needs of the facility.

Required Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping, janitorial, environmental services, or professional cleaning experience preferred.

• Ability to independently manage cleaning responsibilities within a large, multi-unit residential environment.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain consistent cleaning standards.

• Ability to follow established cleaning, sanitation, and safety procedures.

• Dependable attendance and ability to complete assigned responsibilities within the scheduled shift.

• Ability to communicate professionally with clients, coworkers, supervisors, and other members of the CBH team.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping or environmental-services experience in a healthcare, behavioral health, residential treatment, hospitality, or similar setting.

• Familiarity with infection-control practices and proper cleaning/disinfecting procedures.

• Experience maintaining multi-room or multi-unit residential facilities.
