The opportunity
As a Financial Analyst – Working Capital & Cash, you will support the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of cash and working capital reporting, forecasting, and controls across the Energy & Utilities business.
Working closely with finance teams, treasury, shared services, and operational stakeholders, you will provide valuable insights that help optimise cash performance and support strategic decision-making.
What you’ll do
- Deliver daily, weekly, and monthly cash, working capital, and CAPEX reporting, forecasting, and analysis.
- Monitor cash inflows, outflows, debtor balances, work in progress, and other key working capital metrics across multiple business units and contracts.
- Partner with business unit finance teams to identify trends, risks, and opportunities and improve cash management practices.
- Support treasury reporting requirements, including 12-week cash forecasts and participation in weekly cash review processes.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives by developing reporting tools, controls, and analytical solutions that improve data quality, efficiency, and business performance.

What we’re looking for
- Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Commerce, or a related discipline.
- Experience in accounting, treasury, business analysis, or commercial finance within a medium to large organisation.
- Strong analytical capability with advanced Excel skills and experience working with ERP and reporting systems.
- Ability to interpret large volumes of financial and transactional data and translate findings into meaningful business insights.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills.
Desirable
- Working towards or holding a CA, CPA, or equivalent qualification.
- Experience with cash flow, working capital, or CAPEX reporting and forecasting.
