Senior Developer
Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Developer to design, develop, support, and enhance enterprise applications. The successful candidate will play a key role in Agile delivery, technical solution design, system integration, application maintenance, and ensuring adherence to coding and deployment standards. The role requires hands-on development experience with Oracle technologies, event-driven architecture, job scheduling platforms such as Control-M, and strong leadership in code quality and release management.
Key Responsibilities
Application Development & Support
- Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise-grade applications and system integrations.
- Perform application enhancements, bug fixes, root cause analysis, and production support.
- Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Ensure application performance, scalability, security, and maintainability.
Code Quality & Governance
- Conduct peer code reviews and technical reviews to ensure compliance with development standards and best practices.
- Enforce coding standards, security requirements, and architectural guidelines.
- Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance to project teams.
- Promote reusability, maintainability, and continuous improvement within the development team.
Deployment & Release Management
- Review and approve deployment packages before production release.
- Ensure compliance with deployment procedures, change management processes, and release governance requirements.
- Validate implementation plans, rollback procedures, and production readiness checklists.
- Support application deployment activities across development, testing, UAT, and production environments.
- Collaborate with DevOps and infrastructure teams to automate deployment processes where applicable.
Required Skills & Experience
Technical Skills
- Strong experience in application development and system integration.
- Hands-on experience with Oracle Database and PL/SQL development.
- Experience with Event Broker or messaging platforms.
- Experience in Control-M job scheduling and batch processing.
- Knowledge of REST APIs, web services, and integration frameworks.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and release management practices.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
Soft Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to lead technical discussions and mentor development teams.
- Strong attention to quality, governance, and operational excellence.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline.
- Experience working in large-scale enterprise environments.
- Experience with DevOps tools, source control systems, and automated testing frameworks.
- Agile/Scrum certification is an advantage.

- Deliver sprint commitments with high quality and on schedule.
- Ensure compliance with coding, security, and deployment standards.
- Review developer deliverables and deployment procedures.
- Maintain stable and reliable application integrations, Oracle databases, Event Broker services, and Control-M jobs.
- Provide technical leadership and continuous improvement recommendations across the development lifecycle.
