Overview
PM Group is looking for an experienced CSA QA Representative to join a major Data Cenconstruction project in Belgium.
In this key role, you will be responsible for overseeing all site quality activities and ensuring the highest quality standards are maintained throughout the construction and commissioning phases of a state-of-the-art pharmaceutical facility.
As part of the Construction Management team, you will act as the custodian of the Project Quality Management System (QMS), working closely with the client, inspection agencies, PM Group teams and trade partners to ensure compliance with project requirements, regulatory standards and industry best practices.
Quality is critical to the successful delivery of our projects, making this a highly visible role with a direct impact on project execution and client satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain comprehensive quality assurance programs throughout all phases of data center construction activities
- Conduct regular inspections of construction work, materials, and installations to ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards
- Review and approve construction submittals, shop drawings, and material certifications before installation activities commence
- Coordinate quality control testing protocols for critical systems including electrical infrastructure, HVAC, fire suppression, and security installations
- Document non-conformances and deficiencies, track corrective actions, and verify completion of remedial work
- Facilitate quality audits with clients, regulatory bodies, and third-party certification organizations
- Maintain detailed quality records, inspection reports, and compliance documentation for project handover requirements
- Collaborate with construction teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to establish quality standards and best practices
- Support commissioning activities and final acceptance testing of all data center systems and infrastructure
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years' experience in quality assurance roles within large-scale construction projects, preferably data centers or critical infrastructure
- Strong knowledge of Belgian/European construction standards and building codes
- Experience with quality management systems and construction quality control procedures
- Fluency in English - Dutch and/or French advantageous
- Professional certifications in quality assurance or construction management
- Familiarity with data center commissioning processes and critical system testing protocols
- Bachelor's degree preferred in Engineering, Construction Management, or related technical field
