JOB SUMMARY:

The Senior Enterprise Analytics Analyst transforms complex healthcare and business data into actionable insights that support executive decision-making, organizational strategy, and performance improvement. This role leads complex analytics initiatives, develops executive-level reporting, identifies trends and opportunities, and serves as a subject matter expert promoting best practices in data analysis, visualization, and business intelligence.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Analyze healthcare claims, enrollment, provider, pharmacy, clinical, financial, and operational data to identify trends, risks, opportunities, and improvement opportunities across all lines of business.
  • Develop financial, operational, and clinical performance analyses using advanced analytics, forecasting, predictive modeling, utilization analysis, financial modeling, and trend analysis to generate actionable insights that improve business performance, operational efficiency, quality outcomes, member experience, and support enterprise decision-making.
  • Develop and deliver executive dashboards, performance scorecards, visualizations, and key performance indicators (KPIs) using Power BI and other business intelligence tools; communicate findings.
  • Develop visualizations that effectively communicate trends, risks, opportunities, and organizational performance.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of strategic initiatives through outcome measurement, root cause analysis, and post-implementation analysis; identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Promote enterprise standards for analytical methodologies, metric definitions, documentation, and reporting practices to ensure accuracy, consistency, and reliability of analytical outputs.
  • Maintain trusted enterprise data assets, validate data quality, resolve discrepancies, and support data warehouse enhancements and new data source integration.
  • Support enterprise projects involving system implementations, including claims administration platforms, data warehouses, and business intelligence modernization initiatives; recommend process improvements.
  • Validate data quality, resolve reporting discrepancies, and support enterprise data governance through documentation and standardization of analytical processes to ensure analytical outputs are accurate, consistent, and reliable.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert and establish best practices for analytics, visualization, SQL development, documentation, and quality review; provide guidance and oversight to associate analysts.
  • Perform other related job duties as required or assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Advanced SQL proficiency including querying, transforming, and validating complex datasets.
  • Proficient in developing interactive Power BI dashboards and reports.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas, PivotTables, Power Query, and data analysis.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet established deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to data accuracy and quality.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge in healthcare claims adjudication systems, enterprise data warehouses, and data lakehouse architectures preferred.
  • Knowledge in financial reporting, population health, value-based care, provider network, clinical utilization management, quality improvement, risk adjustment, and pharmacy analytics preferred.
  • Knowledge in Medicare Advantage, Commercial health insurance, and ACA Marketplace products preferred.
  • Successful completion of Health Care Sanctions background check.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, Healthcare Administration, Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Public Health, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • A minimum of five years of more of progressively responsible experience in healthcare analytics, business intelligence, financial analytics, or data analytics.
  • Prior experience developing executive dashboards using Power BI or similar business intelligence platforms.
  • Prior experience analyzing large healthcare datasets.
  • Prior experience within a managed care organization preferred.
  • Prior experience supporting executive leadership preferred.
  • Prior experience with enterprise data warehouse environments preferred.
