Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 6 years of experience in product or program management.
  • Experience with data analysis and data tools (e.g., SQL, MySQL, Tableau, etc.).
  • Experience working with system design and product design.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience managing cross-functional and cross-regional partnerships.
  • Leadership experience, managing complex multi-stakeholder engagements.
  • Google Ads knowledge along with strategic thinking focused on solving business challenges. Knowledge of advertising solutions and the media landscape, both online and offline.
  • Ability to engage with and influence C-level leadership with excellent communication skills.
  • Strategic consulting or business development skills, and ability to identify and prioritize strategic or tactical business opportunities.
  • Excellent analytical and structured problem-solving skills.

gTech Ads is responsible for all support and media and technical services for customers big and small across our entire Ad products stack. We help our customers get the most out of our Ad and Publisher products and guide them when they need help. We provide a range of services from enabling better self help and in-product support, to providing better support through interactions, setting up accounts and implementing ad campaigns, and providing media solutions for customers business and marketing needs and providing complex technical and measurement solutions along with consultative support for our large customers. These solutions range from bespoke and customized ones for our customers to scalable support for millions of customers worldwide. Based on the evolving needs of our ads customers, we partner with Sales, Product and Engineering teams within Google to develop better solutions, tools, and services to improve our products and enhance our client experience. As a cross-functional and global team, we ensure our customers get the best return on investment with Google and we remain a trusted partner.

The Product and Practitioner teams, within Enablement, delivers quality, scale, and efficiency to how Google commercializes its ad products. It liaisons between Product and gTech services where needed, and is responsible for ensuring that Product launches and customer-facing migrations are seamlessly executed.

The Retail Ads team under a larger Search+ vertical works across product and practitioners to enable key product priorities for advertisers with Retail performance focused goals.

US: $148000 - $215000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits

  • Orchestrate launch strategy and readiness to ensure gTech teams are ready to support product launches and migrations.
  • Perform analyses and gather feedback to bring product insights to gTech product forums to inform Product strategy. Understand customer and challenges, needs, and priorities, and leverage deep product expertise to advocate for product improvements with internal cross-functional teams, including Product, Engineering, and Sales.
  • Leverage product expertise to enable gTech teams to service advertisers and ensure the prompt and proper resolution of technical challenges.
  • Design effective launch programs with partners to ensure that new products and feature releases are tested before wide-scale deployment.
