Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Market Manager, Clinical Engineering for the Las Vegas Market, you will champion the operational excellence of multiple Physical Asset Services - Clinical Engineering (PAS-CE) Departments. This pivotal leadership role optimizes clinical engineering programs, ensuring top-tier service delivery, cost-efficiency, and alignment with national strategies and customer expectations. You will be instrumental in driving continuous improvement, enhancing financial performance, and elevating patient safety standards across the Las Vegas region's healthcare landscape. Every day you will orchestrate seamless communication and collaboration with Market/Division Leadership, presenting key performance indicators (KPIs) and aggressive strategies to reduce maintenance costs, extend equipment lifecycles, and deliver exceptional patient safety and customer service. You'll oversee day-to-day department operations, conducting regular visits, ensuring timely report delivery, and maintaining regulatory compliance. Your responsibilities will also include meticulous financial oversight, ensuring budget adherence and efficient processing of financial documentation. Additionally, you will provide critical oversight to PAS-CE account managers, fostering staff development, optimizing customer interactions, managing projects, and implementing standardized regional service strategies, including vendor management and policy development.

To be successful in this role, you will possess a proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with diverse stakeholders, including Divisional and Hospital Leadership, ensuring consistent communication and regulatory adherence within clinical engineering services. Your expertise in financial management will be paramount, demonstrated by your capacity to meet expense budgets and cost containment targets, while meticulously managing expenditure authority.   • Oversees and optimizes multiple Physical Asset Services - Clinical Engineering (PAS-CE) Departments for quality, cost-effectiveness, and alignment with customer/CHI expectations
  • Communicates program goals, KPIs, and strategies to Market/Division Leadership, focusing on cost reduction, extended equipment life, patient safety, and customer service
  • Assists with policy, technology assessments, capital planning, regulatory compliance, contract management, and ensuring clinical engineering services support strategic priorities
  • Manages assigned PAS-CE department operations, including site visits, report delivery, regulatory compliance, performance indicator achievement, and market/division communication
  • Ensures financial performance of departments by adhering to budgets, expenditure authority, and timely processing of financial documentation
  • Oversees PAS-CE account managers for staff training, customer interaction, project management, regional strategies, vendor management, policy, and quality evaluations

Job Requirements

Required

  • Associates Other in a related field , upon hire at least 10 years of experience as a senior/lead technician, with a minimum of five years of experience as an Account Manager.
  • Valid Driver's License

This position requires participation in a rotational on-call schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Candidates must be available to respond to urgent service needs outside of regular business hours and may be required to return to the facility on short notice.
