Work Group Manager, Ground Engineering – Nelson
This is a newly created role in a growing team that blends leadership and technical components, giving you the best of both worlds. Based in our Nelson office, you will lead the Ground Engineering team to deliver high-quality project outcomes, strong commercial performance, and exceptional client service. You will be able to create an environment where people are supported to grow their careers, develop their capabilities, and contribute to a positive and high-performing team culture.
Also key to this role is building and maintaining strong client relationships, identifying opportunities to grow and diversify the Ground Engineering service offering, and working alongside the Business Manager to deliver the Nelson, and broader Upper South and Regional business plans and strategic objectives.
This role is in addition to a technical role, which will be based on your skillset and experience, and this technical role can sit outside of Ground Engineering.
About you:
- Relevant tertiary qualification
- Preferably minimum of 10 years’ professional experience in a related discipline
- A solid understanding and experience within the ground engineering sector
- Relevant professional registration or working towards this
- Demonstrated people leadership experience, strong commercial drive and client centric approach
- Current, full, clean driver licence
