About the RoleThe Project Manager will be responsible for planning, coordinating, executing, and successfully delivering our EdTech, AI, software, academic technology, and digital transformation projects.
The role will act as the central point of coordination between Product, Technology, AI/ML, UI/UX, Academic, Content, QA, Operations, and external vendors, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to the expected quality standards.
The Project Manager will work closely on products including Chrono LMS, Chrono PACE, Chrono Sense, as well as new products, integrations, and customised institutional solutions.
Key Responsibilities1. Project Planning & ExecutionConvert product requirements and business objectives into detailed project plans.
Define scope, milestones, timelines, deliverables, dependencies, and resources.
Create and maintain project schedules and execution trackers.
Monitor progress and ensure timely completion of deliverables.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritise activities.
2. Cross-Functional Team ManagementCoordinate day-to-day execution between:
Software Developers
AI/ML Engineers
Product Managers
UI/UX Designers
QA/Test Engineers
Academic & Content Teams
Data/BI Teams
IT/Infrastructure Teams
External Technology Vendors
Conduct regular meetings, track action items, resolve dependencies, and ensure accountability.
3. Product & Technology CoordinationWork closely with Product Managers and technical teams to understand requirements.
Track development of web, mobile, LMS, AI, analytics, and integration projects.
Understand technical dependencies involving APIs, databases, cloud platforms, ERP/LMS integrations, AI services, and third-party systems.
Ensure requirements are clearly communicated between business/academic stakeholders and technical teams.
Coordinate testing, UAT, deployment, and product releases.
4. Risk & Issue ManagementIdentify project risks, blockers, dependencies, and potential delays.
Maintain risk and issue registers.
Escalate critical issues with appropriate recommendations.
Drive teams towards timely resolution of blockers.
Ensure changes in scope, timelines, and requirements are properly documented and controlled.
5. Stakeholder ManagementAct as the primary project coordination point for internal and external stakeholders.
Conduct project review meetings with management.
Coordinate with school leadership, academic teams, vendors, and institutional clients.
Communicate project status, risks, dependencies, and upcoming milestones clearly.
6. Documentation & ReportingMaintain professional project documentation including:
Project Plans
BRD/PRD coordination
User Stories & Requirements
Project Roadmaps
Sprint Plans
Meeting Minutes
Action Trackers
Risk & Issue Registers
UAT Documentation
Release Plans
Project Status Reports
Prepare regular MIS and management dashboards showing project health, progress, delays, risks, and deliverables.
7. Agile Project ManagementImplement Agile/Scrum practices wherever appropriate.
Coordinate sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
Track backlog, sprint velocity, deliverables, and release schedules.
Work with Product teams to prioritise requirements.

Required Experience4–8 years of experience in project management, technology, software, EdTech, SaaS, digital transformation, or a related field.
Proven experience managing cross-functional technology projects.
Experience taking projects from requirement → planning → development → testing → deployment → implementation.
Experience working with software development and technology teams.
EdTech experience will be strongly preferred.
Educational QualificationBachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, Management, or a related discipline.
PMP, PRINCE2, Scrum Master, Agile, or Product Management certification will be an advantage.
